In 1991, Art Street was incorporated as a 501c3
organization to develop collaborative, participatory
art programs with communities, government agencies,
businesses, schools and non-profit organizations.
Art Street’s method is simple: Use art as
a catalyst to bring people together in support
of community issues. Place art directly in the
path of busy people. Make art a normal part of
pedestrian life. And use art as a way to reach
a large audience with an important message. Art
Street works with schools, community organizations,
government agencies and corporate partners to
develop and manage effective cultural programs
that reach diverse audiences and promote public
support for civic and cultural issues.
Many successful years have passed since the birth
of Art Street. Every year we create dozens of
annual events that reach millions of people with
a powerful message about social values. Over the
course of time we have enriched the lives of countless
communities, we've brought art and spirit to Boston,
New York, Miami, and many other cities, and we've
extended our reach beyond America to worldwide
locations. We are continually developing programs
with people in government, business, schools and
communities that fill daily life with vision,
high hopes and respect.
